So after being 'stood up' for lunch, I decided to take a walk around the "Place"... What was supposed to be a 15 minute walk turned into a 35 minute walk on account of a HUGE barrier(hill, nay, mountain) of clay blocking my normal path toward the Meewasin trail.

As I was off-roading over the mountain to reach safer ground (I couldn't avoid it because of the old irrigation ditch along side), I put my ipod in my pocket for concentration. But when I bent over in attempts to remove the 3 inches of stuck-on clay from my sneakers, my ipod fell out of my pocket into the mire!! 10 minutes to clean my shoes and ipod and smushing my feet in every remnant of snow slowed me down.

All told, I made it back okay, but really, the way I see it: it is all your guys' fault :D
